Building The Temple

Move the Mountain Monday: July 18, 2016

In the past few months (on and off) I have put my love for a game called Minecraft ( to use spiritually. I really felt led to do this by Holy Spirit. I have been using Ezekiel 40-43 along with other teaching sources to recreate the Millennial Temple visually. I have been studying and working on writing texts and books related to the habitations of God for almost four years now. The mandate to build the Millennial Kingdom through this game came to me by Holy Spirit around April 1st of this year and I am not even halfway through the creating in the game or writing the books I have been mandated to write.

It is taking me so long for a variety of reasons. The first is obvious, distraction. I sometimes get distracted by events in my life and in the world which takes my focus off Jesus. Another reason is God’s timing in giving and having me understand new revelations. I cannot write something or share something that I first do not understand and apply in my life. To do so can create false teachings, false doctrines, and false prophecies and ultimately not only disrupt my heart for and in the Lord but lead others down a wrong path. The last reason behind why it is taking me so long to complete these tasks is the many pieces involved. It takes longer to put together a 1,000 piece puzzle than a 100 piece puzzle.

Here is one revelation I have received while building the Millennial Temple through this game. There are many, many pieces within each separate part of the Millennial Temple. While building this Temple, the hardest part is adding each separate block within each standing structure. Think about it. It takes thousands of bricks (or blocks within the game) to be the foundation of a building that is raised up high.

I don’t know how many blocks I already have placed but I have only done about two full structures within the entirety of the Millennial Temple. I would estimate I have already used many thousands of blocks and I am not even halfway through building the entirety of the Temple through this game. Take this and apply it to us as the many membered Body of Jesus Christ. It takes each and every one of us to raise the person of Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ is the Holy of Holies, it takes thousands upon thousands of blocks (us) to surround and create the entirety of the Temple including each Gateway, the Priests’ Chambers, the Sanctuary and Inner Sanctuary, and all other structures within. We, the Body of Jesus Christ, are the Temple. If any brick (block) is out of place the structure is off. Allow Holy Spirit to minister to your heart. He has given me this revelation to share so that He can give others revelation to share so that:

Ephesians 1:10 – …in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.

  1. Good Luck Alicia,

I started making one too (yesterday, 12/1/17). My first hurdle was (is) scale. I’m calling each block a cubit. This scale makes the thing 300×300 overall. Even if I go to sky limit, I can’t see the whole thing at once! It’s a truly HUGE undertaking. Also, my platform is X-Box 360 – another challenge for mega builds. I kept falling asleep yesterday trying to put the perimeter wall in place. 🙂 I got bored of it and went to another world of mine that has a LOT of temples. I made a temple that is “inspired” by the millennial temple in the middle of a “sea” (on the surface). It looks pretty cool, but it isn’t a true replica (just similar) and it’s much smaller.

I’m very intrigued by the millennial temple. As a student of eschatology, I already know a bit about the end times but am just learning about the temple of Ezekiel. It’s really mind-blowing. It seems to be made to impress and move a LOT of people through at one time. The rule in Ezekiel 46:9 shows this. Also, the sacrificial system, which is not for salvation but atonement, is a bit of an enigma to me. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

Anyway, good luck with your project. I hope it helps you learn a lot about this amazing structure and time.

    • Thank you for your comment. It is a huge project and there is much we do not yet understand. My belief is the reason is because our Lord has a timing for such things. I also believe this timing includes more unity among His people. What He gives me is only a part and what He gives someone else (i.e. you) is another part. Good luck to you also.

    • Thanks.
      And I misspoke, it’s 500×500.
Even though there are 7 steps leading up to the outer gates, which makes the outer court probably even with the wall, I’m not going to add all of those blocks to raise it up. I have a life.
