As this is my last official posting for Gathering At His Feet (GAHF: gatheringathisfeet.org), I want to say thank you to all you GAHF readers, to Gina, to Rachael, and to the God-Head for giving me this opportunity that has helped me grow in so many different ways. I will continue to be writing and those posts can be found on my website vesseledfire.com possibly along with other new things.
As any of us expands in the Lord so must our reach in order to keep up with our expanding calling. If we don’t reach further and wider, we could find ourselves too far ahead or too far behind. If we are in either one of these positions all we need to do is STOP! Stop, focus, and take the directions HE gives us to get us to where we are supposed to be.
I pray the words Holy Spirit has given me each week to share with all 17,542 (at the time of this writing) of you has changed us all on some level. There are a few points I would like to leave with you all to summarize most of my writings:
*God is everywhere including the small details of our personalities and day to day living.
*The Lord knows every facet of our hearts. We should come to a place where we know what’s in our hearts also as well as what’s in His.
*God Almighty works in patterns. We have to come to a place of mutual trust with Him so we can see the patterns and work within them.
*God sees from the inside of our being to the outside. We currently see from the outside to the inside. He never changes so we must work on our relationship with the God-Head to see the way He sees.
*God is merciful and gracious.
*The fear of the Lord IS the beginning of wisdom and we are to search Wisdom out like we are searching for gold and silver.
Psalm 103:17-18 – But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, 18 To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
Proverbs 2:3-9 – Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; 8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. 9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.
Psalm 100:4-5 – Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
*Of course we must remember to:
1 John 4:7-11 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Matthew 22:37-40 – Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Love looks like many things to different people. However…
1 Corinthians 13:4-10 – Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
I am working on this daily.
The gates are open. Each one of us only has to walk through them with praise giving thanks. HE IS A GOOD GOOD FATHER! Whatever the Lord holds for the future, I’m sure it will be as amazing as this journey has been. Until then, Dear Loves, SELAH (because the song continues). 😘
