The HOLY Spirit

June 22, 2018

What a summer it is already turning out to be for me. This month has been go, go, go for me and my family. That is just in the natural. Even as I am typing this we are in the process of packing for our beach week starting tomorrow (exhausting but rewarding in the end). The spiritual realm has been the same for me here lately with continuous movement.

Three weeks ago, I went to a women’s Christian retreat that I go to annually. The first time I ever attended this spiritual refreshing (I call it that because that is what it has always been for me) is when I first ever encountered the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, my Savior in a tangible way. Every year, at this refreshing weekend retreat, I receive so much from the God-Head and this year has been no different. It has been three weeks and I am still receiving downloads from the Heavenly realm from the retreat. There is a process of sorting all the information we receive and I am currently in that process. The last season where I was flooded with strategies and information from Heaven at this intense level, my artistic abilities were unblocked. I wonder what will be unblocked in this season?

I said that I encountered the Lord Jesus my first time attending this retreat but Lord Jesus was not the first of the Holy Trinity I encountered. My first encounter was with Holy Spirit. I can’t fully explain it except to say that He made Himself known to me in a way that I knew Who He was immediately.

It is said of Kathryn Kuhlman that she called The Holy Spirit her best friend. I was reminded of this recently while watching clips of some of her meetings. In one of those televised meetings she said to the crowd she would not want to be left on this earth five minutes after Holy Spirit left. Ummmm…yeah…neither would I.

Matthew 12:31-32 – “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

I would not want to be anywhere where Holy Spirit is not or is not welcome. The Power of God comes through Holy Spirit. There is a lot happening in the Kingdom of Heaven in this time we are in. Holy Spirit is our Comforter and our Helper among a multitude of other Mighty names He has. We can do NOTHING without Holy Spirit. It is time to learn again Who the Spirit of The Living God is. He IS my best friend same as Kathryn Kuhlman said. Yet there is so much I do not know about Him. I dare say we as the Body of Christ have only begun to scratch the surface (and that’s saying something because we do know much but there is so much more).

This is the season to seek and cry out for our God to help us to know Him (all parts of Him) better in every way we can. Without knowing Him how can we hear Him to know His Voice? Without a deeper relationship with Him how can we come to a perfect unity to say “Come!” to our Bridegroom as The Spirit and the Bride do? How will we remember those things that our Lord calls Holy Spirit to bring to our remembrance without knowing what His Presence feels like?

As with anything of the Lord I am excited, curious, youthful, full of awe, concerned, awkward, worried, and hopeful for what is to come and how I will grow in this new season that has started. I plan to share the wonderful gems that come from the Garden with anyone willing to venture along on this journey. My prayer is that we all seek to be “in one accord” as was the case in many instances of the Bible where the Power of God was manifested through Holy Spirit. You know…it is easier to survey as well as defend a large piece of land with more people (wink). Until next time Dear Loves…
