Psalm 11 – In the Lord I put my trust;
How can you say to my soul,
“Flee as a bird to your mountain”?

2 For look! The wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow on the string,
That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?

4 The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.
5 The Lord tests the righteous,
But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.

A Letter From the Heart

There are many things that get my emotions up and running; every emotion. There are things that make me angry, sad, happy, joyful, fearful, and loving. There are many things in this world and beyond that ignite me with a multitude of passions. There are too many things to list that keep me going and have kept me going in my 40+ years of existence so far. The number one thing that has always driven me is love.

As I sit here and am writing this I am trying to rationalize in my head why I am writing this. I could share what has inspired me to write this but that would defeat the purpose. The purpose is that this is a letter from my heart. Just as there was something in the natural that inspired me to write this, I am in the hope that this will inspire you. Continue reading →
